Kala Hamsa Dr. Krishna Sahithi - A professional kuchipudi dancer & choreographer believes that :
“ Classical Dance is a divine art form in all art forms as it is a path towards salvation. It is the most precious way to elevate our Indian culture. Her goal is to spread SHAKTISM representing Women Empowerment by choreographing on all Devi's Sahasram, Vedas, Suktam, Kritis, etc.”
FOUNDER
KALAHAMSA DR.KRISHNA SAHITHI
The professional Kuchipudi dancer is the founder of Vanamali Performing Arts and choreographer of 4 Vedas-Upanishads & full Lalitha sahasram. She is an experienced dancer who is highly passionate about her art form. She has received “HONORARY DOCTORATE” for choreographing on Sri Suktam from Rigvedam for the first time ever in entire world at a very young age.
Dr. Krishna Sahithi is born in a Telugu Brahmin family where chanting Vedam is very regular at home, so one day a thought hit her, as Dance is also known as "Panchama Vedam & Vedas contain abundance of knowledge" so why not choreograph on Vedas?! This is where her journey of choreographing on Vedas & Upanishads has begun. She says "Choreographies, concepts are challenging & ignite one's inner talent & creativity", so all her choreographies either have spiritual message, social message or depict human values.
She believes in creating unique and meaningful choreographies that can both captivate and educate audiences of all ages and cultures. Her aim is to promote Indian culture through dance by sharing the ethics and values of Indian tradition.
